BAIgenty - AI Business Analyst Agent

BAIgenty is an experiment in turning a rough product idea into a useful first analysis.

I built it because early project conversations often contain the right intent but not enough structure. Before a team can estimate or design anything, someone still needs to clarify the problem, identify users, expose assumptions, and break the work into sensible outcomes.

What it produces

The agent helps draft:

  • a problem and scope summary;
  • user stories and acceptance criteria;
  • an initial architecture view;
  • risks, open questions, and assumptions;
  • a rough delivery and cost discussion.

These are starting points, not finished project documents. A person still needs to challenge the assumptions, speak with stakeholders, and decide what belongs in the product.

What I learnt

The useful part is not generating a long report. It is asking better questions early. The quality improved when I made each agent role narrow, kept intermediate outputs structured, and added checks between stages rather than asking one model to do everything at once.

The experiment uses React and TypeScript for the interface, with a small multi-agent workflow behind it. Retrieval helps with reusable guidance, but project-specific facts must come from the person describing the idea.
